After her St. Louis Symphony Orchestra conducting debut last week, assistant conductor Stephanie Childress leads the SLSO again this weekend at Powell Hall for “Airs and Dances.” The program includes Luigi Boccherini’s Overture in D major, W.A. Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante, K. 364, and Ottorino Respighi’s “Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 3.” The SLSO’s Xiaoxiao Qiang (violin) and Shannon Williams (viola) are featured in the Mozart piece.
